All Android Phone USB Drivers – Download for Windows 10, 8.1 & 7

By PhoneLab Smartphone Repair

If you’re connecting an Android smartphone or tablet to your Windows PC (Windows 10, 8.1 or 7), you often need the correct USB driver so the PC recognises the device properly (for file transfers, ADB, debugging or flashing). Below we’ve gathered major download links, explained what these drivers are, and how to install them.

What are Android USB Drivers?

A “USB driver” for Android is a small piece of software that allows your Windows PC to communicate correctly with an Android device over USB. Without the correct driver, the PC may only see “Unknown device”, may only charge the phone, or may fail to recognise the device in ADB/Fastboot mode.
